Six wonderful things about me, Cara (but written by Jeff):
1. I am a really good typist, and proud of it. I think everyone should be required to take a typing course. I can't stand watching my husband type.
2. My favorite day of the week is Sunday. I get to go to church, and my husband and I get some alone time, you know...
3. I am actually quite a good cook, even though I haven't been doing it that long.
4. I prefer art by numbers to creating my own picture.
5. I am constantly battling between living a lavish lifestyle and a life of frugality. I want to live like a queen without spending a dollar.
6. My answer to almost any question is, "I don't know, maybe". I understand the vastness of the universe and realize that at any moment something could happen that changes the outcome of my decision. Therefore, I am always safe by saying, "I don't know, maybe."

Scrapbook Expo

My friend, Brooke, and I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Sacramento over the weekend. We stayed at her sister's house. We got a lot of scrappin' done and had so much fun. I really enjoy scrapbooking, but never have time to do it. On Friday night, we went to a crop night at Green Tangerines. They have really nice tables and leather chairs and they have dinner catered! It was fun and very productive! We went to the Expo on Saturday and did more cropping that night. Jeff and Sienna seemed to have a great time without me. They kept themselves very busy visiting friends and having people over. I guess they wouldn't mind if I did this again sometime...

Southern California
We went to Southern California last weekend to meet Sienna's newest cousin, Abigail. We stayed in Laguna Beach and enjoyed walking around downtown and visiting the art galleries and, of course, the surf shops.

Jeff's brother is attending San Diego State, so one day we drove down there and Jeff took his brother and his roommate surfing. Sienna and I enjoyed the beautiful weather, the seagulls, and the dogs. She loves dogs and is not afraid of them, even ones that are 10 times her size; she got licked down by, literally, a 200 pound dog (we asked the owner--it was ginormous!).

It was so fun to hang out with family and to meet sweet Abigail. She is so cute and a good blend of both Mike and Laura. Unfortunately, Sienna got really sick with what we now know was the flu and I was so concerned that I didn't get any pictures of Abigail :(
I'm ready for surfing, Dad!
