Pier 39

Last weekend we took Sienna to see the sea lions at Pier 39. My brother, Glenn, was in the city visiting from Santa Clara where he's attending law school. It was a warm day and the sea lions were basking in the sun.
We thought Sienna would like the sea lions, but I think she was more scared. They were barking loudly, butting each other off the docks, and smelled horribly.
So, we headed to the carousel. She and Jeff took a ride while Glenn and I ate some salt water taffy from the Candy Baron. This pregnancy I have been craving sugar, especially salt water taffy. My favorite flavor: cinnamon.
It's fun having Glenn close by and look forward to seeing him more often.

Emergency Preparedness Fair

A few weeks ago, our stake sponsored an emergency preparedness fair and Jeff volunteered to be in charge of the food and water storage booth. He took Sienna since I had to work the night before and they had a great time checking out the fire engine and helicopter.
