Friday night we rode the muni N train downtown to see the Christmas tree and lights in Union Square. It's so nice living within a block of the train. Sienna loves riding it for about 5 minutes, then she starts saying "off." Both kids did very well. My brother, Glenn, met us down there and we all had a great time. It was fun seeing the hustle and bustle, but just enjoying the festive night.
My mom went all out and made a delicious Thanksgiving dinner (she said she was going to keep it simple, but I don't think she knows how to do that) and my dad and brothers were here for the feast. Laura and Mike came over later for dessert; the raisin pie was my highlight :) Sienna always tries to feed Dylan whatever she's eating. She's such a good big sister. Then, Jeff's family came over the next day and we hung out and walked to the park. Jamie meeting Dylan for the first time.Chris and Lindsey also meeting Dylan.Brooke came into the city to meet the little man.Jeff's mom was here last week to help out. Both she and my mom cooked and played with Sienna and gave me so much help. I'm missing them already! We were able to take Sienna to pick out a Christmas tree and then we decorated it. This is the first year we have had a Christmas tree because our other apartment was too small for one. It smells so good and looks great. Now it feels like the Christmas season.
