Date Night II: Seared Ahi Tuna and Salad of Mixed Greens with Wasabi Vinaigrette
The baby's down for the night, Jeff bought ahi tuna for dinner, but what do we do with it? I went to the Food Network and typed in ahi tuna and found this recipe. It didn't look too difficult and we had most of the ingredients, so after a walk to the produce market to get what we didn't have (don't worry Sienna wasn't in bed yet!), we went to work. It actually turned out to be a true Rachel Ray 30-minute meal (her recipes usually take me longer than 30 minutes). We also made sesame noodles to complement the ahi. It was d-lish!

Wow Cara! You should be a professional...it sure looks good (and I don't like fish!).
What a great idea for a date night. You guys always make really yummy food, or you always have yummy snacks at your house. Can't wait to see you soon!!
Yummy! So, does the tuna taste raw? I always wondered what they meant by seared! I think I will hire you as my cook!
Your plate looks like it belongs in a cookbook! You are really getting techno savvy. I clicked on "this" and it took me right to the recipe! I'm impressed.
Wow, that is amazing. That is so nice that you were able to throw such a beautiful dish together in such a short amount of time. Rachel Ray who? The Truemans need their own show.
