Coyote Point Museum

Our ward has a fun play group that meets every Wednesday and we always do something different. Today we went to free day at the Coyote Point Museum in San Mateo. It is mostly outdoors, sits right on the Bay and is surrounded by a wooded area; very beautiful! We saw a sea otter, bobcat, porcupine, and were just in time to watch the fox feeding. Sienna didn't mind the ride in her stroller and loved getting an up close look of the cute sea otter. We also walked through the aviary and came face to face with a Great Blue Heron. I had never heard of this place before, but will definitely return. Right next to the museum is a "beach" and we saw people wading in the bay. There are so many fun things to do in the Bay Area, especially with children.

We are so lucky to live in an area with so many fun things to do with children! Looks like you had a good time, I should really consider coming to playgroup more often.
