San Francisco-Vancouver Cruise

We just got back from a cruise with John. It was seven days and stopped in Astoria, Seattle, Vancouver, and Victoria. It was a lot of fun! The weather was clear and sunny, but really cold.Sienna and Jeff spent a lot of time in the indoor pool, which was warmed to about 85 degrees! In Astoria, OR (where Goonies and Kindergarten Cop were filmed), we rented a car and drove down the coast to Tillamook and indulged ourselves in lots of cheese and ice cream. YUM!Beautiful drive! In Seattle, we went to famous Pike Place Market. Everything looked so fresh and delicious! Then, we rode the monorail to the Space Needle and went to the top. Gorgeous views! There are still rides and lots of activities for kids around the Space Needle. Sienna loved the blow-up jungle gym.Next stop: Vancouver, British Colombia. We walked to Stanley Park and visited the Aquarium, where we saw a dolphin show and stared at the beluga whales for awhile (very intriguing creature; it looks like a giant marshmallow man with a smile on his face just slowly gliding through the water). We met some great friends at dinner; they're expecting in August, so they were very tolerant of Sienna throwing food and silverware and making a disaster. Our waiters were also very patient with Sienna and everynight I'd apologize for the mess and Sergio (the one on the right) would say in his Honduras accent "it is my greatest pleasure to serve Sienna." The service on the ship was excellent!

What a blast!!! You guys always take advantage and see so many things, I love that about you guys. What an adventure to do all those things on the cruise. I do have to say though that the picture in front of Tillamook made my mouth water. That was the highlight for me of your trip (I am living vicariously through you guys), I used to look forward to flights that served little Tillamook cheeses in their lunch menu. I don't think anyone does that anymore.

I'm sure everyone just LOVED Sienna! How can you not? She is gorgeous and such a good little girl. Glad you guys had a great time!!!

What a trip! I am glad it was fun! The places look gorgeous! I wish we could have gone! And Tillamook is my favorite! I think it is great that the ship will dock so you can tour the area. How fun! Sienna probably did wonderfully! Looks like a blast!

I love the 1st picture of John and Sienna sitting in their "chairs"! I bet he will treasure that one. I want you to tell Sienna to stop growing up! every time I see her, she's a different girl...not my baby anymore!

I love your face in the first picture with Sienna and Fylnni!!! Are you worried he is going to touch your baby or something??? Ha ha! I can also just imagine you staring for so long at Mr. Marshmellow Man... too funny and yes, very interesting animal! Glad you guys got to spend time together and share so many fun memories.
