Holiday Season 2008

We had a wonderful Christmas with our little family this year. One of the highlights was watching Sienna play with her new, red kitchen. She loves baking cupcakes, making soup, and of course, talking on the phone. One of my favorite things about the holidays is the yummy food. We spent Christmas Eve with our friends, the Miner's, and enjoyed a delicious ham, potatoes with gruyere cheese, homemade rolls, white chocolate cheesecake, and a chocolate hazelnut tort (wish I took pictures, so I could drool over the food right now). I was in heaven! Their girls put on a cute puppet show of the nativity. On Christmas morning, Jeff made omelettes just like my dad always does and for dinner we made roasted salmon with Granny Smith apple butter sauce and herbed potato cakes. So good!Sienna is practicing her surf moves on a virtual surfboard, which Jeff got for Christmas from Robin. Here is another highlight of Christmas:
We are enjoying little Dylan so much! He is such a good baby and brings a special feeling to our home. A few days after Christmas our families came and we blessed Dylan at church. It was a beautiful day and experience for us. My mom made this darling outfit for Dylan. She knitted the blanket and little booties, too.My sweet friend (practically my sister), Heddy, opened her home to us for brunch and visiting after the blessing. On New Year's Eve, we drove to Southern California to visit my grandma who is sick. Even though it was difficult to see her like this, I'm glad she and my papa got to meet Dylan and see Sienna. Dylan also got to meet my sister Amy:
And, finally, I had to include these pictures of the sweetest little ones. I love them so much!

What a wonderful Christmas! Dylan looks so much older than the last pictures of him, he is growing fast! I love his smiles (and the scowl in his blessing outfit) and Sienna looks like a great big sister. Hope you guys are doing well.

Ok... did you get that zip up jacket for Sienna to make me jealous? It's so cute! She looks so big compared to little D. Glad to see you are enjoying all your hard work! Cute kids. Love the big, beautiful eyes as I predicted:-)
