Dylan's 1st Birthday

I can't believe Dylan turned one this week! That year flew by! We had a fun celebration with family and friends. Rebecca impressed us with an incredible and delicious cake.Such a happy little balloon boy! He warms my heart. People often ask me if he is always this happy and I can honestly say he is.
Dylan literally devoured the cupcake!

Happy Birthday, Little Man!

That video of Dylan devouring the cupcake was hilarious! And the picture of him crawling under his balloons is definitely frame-able! Thanks for being part of our lives. We love you!

So cute!

And I wanted to thank you so much for coming to my grandmother's funeral. It was so good to see you. I apologize for rushing in and only offering a quick hello. I was afraid I would miss the scheduled family prayer. Please forgive me if I seemed short. I really was happy to see you.

I looked for you after the service, but found I had missed you.

Thank goodness for those who blog, so I at least have an idea about what is going on for you and your darling family. You look great, and I wished we had had a few minutes to visit. Maybe this August when we're out to visit I'll catch you. Or know you are welcome to visit out here anytime and stay with us. Chicago is a wonderful place (though more wonderful when it isn't the frigid season. :)

Best,
Kristin
