This year is a big year for my parents as they both turn 60! There are not many surprises in life, so my siblings and I jumped at the opportunity to plan a surprise party for them--without causing any heart attacks.
After months of planning, we were able to pull it off. What a fun weekend! We all (minus some grandkids and in-laws) met in Utah at one of their favorite restaurants and they were speechless when they saw us. My dad could not stop laughing and my mom turned to him and finally asked, "what's going on?" She thought he was behind it. We hung out together over the weekend and my mom would stop and say, "I can't believe you are all here!" They were in shock all weekend.
