My Grandma, Helen Bell, passed away last Saturday. I will miss her, but I am thankful for the many memories I have. Here are a few:
Her purse was always stocked with bubble gum, except grape flavor
As she left our house she always reminded me to help my mom (probably because I was one of the older kids of seven)
She always let me take her old Readers' Digests on our car trips home
She told me she and Papa celebrated Valentine's everyday and it was evident even after 60+ years of marriage
She told me multiple times in order to "catch" a guy I have to learn to bat my eyelashes

Her amazingly strong testimony and faith
Going to church with her
Her sweet and witty letters in the mail
Her duets with Papa as he accompanied on his ukulele

Her sense of humor and sassiness, which is evident in this video

that's beautiful...what sweet memories you have! I hope I can be that kind of grandma.
I LOVE the video! It really captures them both in their true personalities. She will be missed...
Thanks Cara!
Thanks for putting that video on there. Brought tears again! She was a marvelous woman.
Also, your children are so sweet! Enjoy every second.
Love you, Aunt Connie
