Marin French Cheese Factory

Yesterday, we toured the Marin French Cheese Factory in Petaluma with some friends. The tour lasted about two minutes, but we enjoyed the grounds and all the yummy samples of cheese. They specialize in soft cheeses, like brie. After lunch, we drove to Point Reyes Visitor Center and did a self-guided Junior Ranger program on the Coast Miwok Indians. I think at this point we should have called it a day and started the trek home. We were with several families with older kids who don't nap and who can easily participate in the self-guided part. Let's just say it was an adventure! Sienna took this photo. Nice shot! Here's Brooke wishing she had her own tepee like this to cook in at home. Can you see poor, little Dylan's face?Haley LOVES little ones!Apparently Sienna thought she was a Miwok and decorated her face with warpaint. It was a fun day with friends!

Grandma should have come along... I had to do a report on the Miwok Indians when I was in 3rd or 4th grade!! The kids are learning lots even though you may not see it. (It may not be about Indians... but they're learning! :)
